StratusIQ Digital TV
All Digital TV opens your entertainment options to better packaging and access to advanced services. For each TV that you connect to StratusIQ TV service, you will need a digital converter box. This equipment is available for a monthly fee depending on the type of box and advanced guide software. Each digital converter must be connected to a working cable outlet, then connected to your TV. Your digital converter box includes a remote that controls your programming, and in most cases can also be programmed to operate your TV.
MG2 – 6 Tuner DVR with advanced TiVo Guide software, online app integration, VU-It access for streaming recordings, multi-room viewing when connected with Ebox terminals.
EBox – The EBox from Evolution can be activated as a multi-room DVR terminal or as a stand-alone set top box.
As a Multi-Room DVR Terminal the Ebox is HD capable and can access DVR recordings from the MG2 and has the advanced TiVO guide and search software. It also allows Pay Per View and VOD Features.
As a stand-alone set top box the Ebox is HD capable and has the advanced TiVo guide and Online integration features. It also allows Pay Per View and VOD features.
DTA – The basic digital converter box is a DTA. These are discrete boxes that show HD and have the digital guide features.

High Definition Programming
All digital converters boxes from StratusIQ are HD capable. HD Channels are in the 500’s of the channel lineup and the digital guide. Some boxes have guide software that will alert you that an HD version of the channel is available when you tune to the channel. It will say something like “press D to watch in HD”.
Digital Video Recorder (DVR)
The MG2 DVR has 6 tuners and 1 Terabyte of storage. It records up to 6 shows at once and can store up to 150 hours of HD content. The DVR service with TiVO software and Vu-IT integration allows you the control to pause and record live TV, schedule recordings, use OnePass to record preferences, watch recordings from other rooms and stream recordings to mobile apps with VuIT. Skip commercials, pause for a run to the kitchen, or rewind to see something you missed. With a DVR, you’re watching TV on your terms.

Your Digital TV, HD programming, or DVR service can be used to limit the availability of certain programming to your home. There are two different controls which may be activated: Parental Controls, and Purchase PINs.
To begin, bring up the Main Menu on your screen by pressing the Menu button on your remote. Select Setup from the Main Menu, then select PINs. Follow the on-screen prompts to setup, clear, or change your PINs. If activated, the Purchase PIN must be entered before any pay-per-view programming may be ordered. If activated, the Parental Lock PIN must be entered before restricted programs may be viewed. To set up Parental Controls, bring up the Main Menu on your screen by pressing the Menu button on your remote. Choose Setup from the Main Menu, then select Locks. You may lock out programming by rating, channel, and/or title.
